It is a walled village sitting on the top of a hill with the most majestic views of the rolling hills you can get. It’s famous for its pecorino cheese, you can’t leave without having tasted some!
A medieval town known for its wine and traditional restaurants which located about 20 minutes from La Foce. Famous for its vino nobile di Montepulciano, the numerous wineries, and the underground cellars, it is an uphill walk to the top to visit the heart of the village that will be worth it. The Tempio di San Biagio, sitting at the feet of the town, is a breathtaking building and sightseeing opportunity.
Museums, Cathedrals, the famous Piazza del Palio and the world’s oldest bank can be found in this medieval city in Tuscany. It is known as one of the most walkable cities in Italy with a wide selection of restaurants and local boutiques. The city of Siena is located about an hour drive from La Foce. It is famous for its Palio that takes place twice a year, where the “contrade” which are the neighborhoods that the city is divided into, compete in a horse ride. Flags that show the contrada symbol and colors are strung across the piazzas and cobblestone streets, and are a nice souvenir to take home.

With the area being located about a 20-minute drive from the main venue La Foce and 10 minutes from the first day event L’Olmo, it definitely is worth a visit for a unique spa experience. The main square is actually a large tank of volcanic water and the buildings around it reflect in the water, creating an enchanting atmosphere.
